Berkeley

The fall season has finally come to a close. The Berkeley volleyball team made it to the playoffs, and the men's and women's soccer teams both had good outings. Overall, BK performed decently—not great, but decently. Fortunately, the winter season is just around the corner.

Volleyball is preparing to layeth the smack down, as the game finally returns indoors to Payne Whitney. Having spent the fall watching The Big Lebowski too many times, the bowling team is primed and ready to open up a can of whup-ass on their opponents. After countless nights of sharpening their skates, the ice hockey team stands ready to proclaim itself the best there is, the best there ever was, and the best there ever will be. A-, B-, and C-hoops captains (identities protected in order to prevent Tonya Harding-type hijinks) have suggested that the other teams should be ready to feel the bang. And with a handful of lanky guys with rackets guided by the spirit of the old squash court, BK squash merely asks, "Who's next?" BK IMs. It's out there. Get it?

(Compiled by Howard Han, the Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rollah, in conjunction with Regina "Don't Hate the Playa, Hate the Game" Sieber.)
