Silliman

Boys and girls, the word of the week in Silliman intramu-rals is "dominate." And if you don't already know what that means, be prepared to experience it personally, at the hands of the red, yellow, and green. At press time, we are a blistering 1-0 in winter play, fresh off a 15-9, 15-2 domination of Calhoun in women's volleyball. Along with seniors Jessica "Digmeister" Lee and Ming "Zhensation" Zhou, and sophomore Elizabeth "Hightower" Donald, this beatdown was brought to you by the letters C—Ciara "The Daddy" McCor"mack" '01, Chrissy "Big Country" Anthony '01, Cariann "O captain, my captain" Chan '01—and S—Shannon "SBB" Baker-Branstetter '01, Samantha "Silencer" Trepel '02, and Sophie "The Nullifier" Nimmannit '02.

And this just in off the wire: In the most amazing comeback in intramural ice hockey history, the Silliman ice all-starts pulled off a stunner over Pierson. Down 7-1 going into the third period, the Sillimanders, led by Dante "My foot is killing me" Rizzo '00 and Daniel "Diaper Dandy" Kim '03, reeled off seven unanswered goals to win 8-7, the last one coming off Rizzo's magic stick and ringing the net post with one second left on the clock! Unbelievable! The whole squad—Hugh "Deano" Flick, Abby "Penalty Box" Pease '00, Caleb "It doesn't matter whose skates I wear" Weaver '01, Shane "Tackling Dummy" Dizon '00 and stellar stand-in netminder Anne "These pads are a bit large" Platt '01—deserves a whole blenderful of props for their amazing come-from-behind victory!

That concludes our broadcast for tonight. As a wise man once opined, "Know your role." In your case, that would be, well, loser.
