Ivy Medalists


Brown, Dartmouth and Princeton crew

Brown, Dartmouth and Princeton crew programs can each add another Olympic medal winner to their bragging lists. Xeno Mueller (Brown '94) brought home a silver medal for Switzerland in single sculls, American Ted Murphy (Dartmouth '94) earned a silver medal in pairs rowing. Sarah Garner (Penn '94) earned a bronze medal in lightweight double sculls for the U.S.



Ekiden Elite


Ekiden relay races in Japan

On Mon., Oct. 9, the Ivy League Ekiden relay team will compete in one of the most prestigious annual collegiate Ekiden relay races in Japan. The team consists of Ray Biersbach (Columbia '00), Jim Colling (Princeton '99), Michael Grant (Columbia '00), Weldon Johnson (Yale '97), Erik Kean (Princeton '99), Dan Lesser (Brown '98), Justin Niedzialek (Princeton '99) and Donal O'Sullivan (Brown '97).
