Trumbull

The debate is over. The polls are in. The outcome is clear. Current results show Trumbull far ahead of all opponents in the Tyng 2000 race. The people have spoken and absolute domination is the result. Our track record this week speaks for itself. The Trumvolleyball team quickly disregarded any partisan squabbles and stormed the fields as a united front. Majority Whip Andy Nelson '02 led a notable force including Campaign Manager Omri Na"rock the"vot `02, General Laura Beckert '03, Secretary of Defense Gary P. Fernando '03, Supreme Justice Deniz Ozgenc '04 and Secretary of Serve Samuel An '03. That's right - we're going to the playoffs, and there's just no stopping us. The men's soccer team continues its winning tradition, drawing support from throughout the College. The following appeared in a recently released statement from Captains Bill Weeks '02 and Phil Gorman '01: "Our opponents' plans do not add up - they will not be able to show you results against our team for at least 4 to 5 years. Under our plan, Trumbull wins today.' Women's soccer has also dominated, smothering previously undefeated Berkeley/Calhoun. A short note to our running mates in Saybrook, regarding last week's IM column: we will not make this a campaign of personal attacks. The only attacks we will make are on the fields as we destroy our opponents. This strategy has already been implemented by our Table Tennis team with glowing results. The latest polls are clear. Trumbull is ready to take the lead. Apparently, many other colleges have been given the unfortunate label of "at risk." Basically, this means that when challenging Trumbull, they just can't learn.
