The playoffs are here and, like Dolinsky on a Friday night, begging to be taken advantage of. Here goes nothing: count on the Yanks and White Sox to advance, and the Mets and Braves to set up a repeat of last year's phenomenal NLCS ($200 each team). On the gridiron, the Bulldogs dispose of Dartmouth with ease ($1000), while the Giants end their recent skid ($400) by defeating the Falcons. I'm on a roll, and this is gonna be a big weekend... OK, so apathy is not my strong suit. This week I'm back on top and ready to ride. Its a hard-knock life, kids. Teddy is hard up; his precious Mets hardly have a chance to advance ($500 on the Giants). Chepiga, is that a tube sock in your pocket or are you just happy to see Diskant? My ghetto 'hood, U of Delaware, is going to bust a cap in William and Mary's ass ($600). Speaking of asses, Seattle is going to wipe theirs with the White Sox ($400). Smackateers: My advisors tell me the baseball playoffs are in full swing, the NFL is back on parole, and the only thing less exciting than the Gore/Bush "debates" is the new NHL Season, which if you care, started Wednesday. Place your bets ($500) on the New York Giants, who will stick it to ex-coach Dan Reeves. Baseball's Giants will get spanked by the Amazin's. Also in baseball, look for the A's to wipe their goateed asses with the Yankees' overdrawn checkbook ($500). Finally, place yer bets on Malice to put up a strong showing against Mercy ($400), as well as Hope to outlast Suffering, in a battle to the finish.
