Timothy Dwight

The TD IM teams have begun the rise to their former glory. Led by the efforts of the volleyball and women's soccer teams, the rest of the TD family has begun to make their presence felt. With the only loss from the TD women coming on a rainy day technicality, they have mowed down all of their competition. It seems that now the rest of TD has caught up with them. The volleyball team made a strong run to the playoffs but lost in the first round. After the stirring performances by both of these teams, the men's soccer team and the football squads caught fire. The football teams have intimidated their opponents into three consecutive forfeits—apparently the red masses were too much for them to handle. The glory of the football team has also been shared by the men's soccer team, which has put together a two-game winning streak. As the fall season draws to a close, the sleeping giant on Temple Street has been awakened. The recent successes on the fields will continue into future weeks. With a full slate of games next week, including the important cross country race, We hope to see TDers rally behind the spirit of Ashé and continue the quest for Tyng glory.

(Compiled by a Temple Street enthusiast.)
