Four semesters and seven months ago, Master Smith brought forth on this college some new freshmen, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all IM hockey teams are created equal. Now, we are engaged in a great civil war...well, not really. But Captains Aaron "That was" Zamost "amazing save ever" '01 and Randy "Hungry like a/Who's afraid of Virginia/Big Bad" Wolfe '01 are only 10 victories away from a perfect season, an achievement inconceivable when they arrived three years ago, when they finished last in the standings at 0-11.Branford is back, bitches. Returning to the Whale are juniors Dave "and Confused" Lisson '02, Chris Harper "? I hardly know her" '02, Chris "John" Eckerle '02, and sophomores Greg "Harry and the" Hendrickson '03 and Peter "George Herbert" Walker '03. New additions Brian Ferrara "Testarossa" '02 and Rachel "It" Burnes "when I pee" '03 make the team even stronger, if that's really possible.
It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which Rebecca Goodman '00, Christiaan Vorkink '99 and Mike May '98 thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us: shirts.
P.S. Just so Justin "Come on Aileen" Vaughn '02 and the other IM secretaries don't get mad at me, the other winter sports are as follows: Men's A-hoops, B-hoops, C-hoops, women's basketball, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, men's squash, women's squash, inner tube water polo, and bowling. And I think there might be some kind of swimming thing in there too.
