Cornell to NFL

Peter K. Mangurian, the head football coach at Cornell, is leaving the Big Red to become the new offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons. This move will reunite Mangurian with Dan Reeves, the head coach of the Falcons; Mangurian worked under Reeves from 1988 to 1992 with the Denver Broncos.

Penn powerhouse

In Penn's 64-51 win over Albany on Mon., Jan. 8, forward Diana Caramanico '01 took command of the game, scoring a career high 42 points. She finished just two points away from the Ivy League record for most points in a game, held by 1981 Dartmouth graduate Gail Koziara, who scored 43 points in 1978. Caramanico's game against Siena made her the first Penn player in history to score 2,000 career points, making her Ivy League Player of the Week for the second week in a row. —Compiled by Erin Fitzpatrick
