Silliman

Since TD can't get the job done on the courts, it decided to wimp out of the traditional Silliman-TD snowball fight by challenging a mere fraction of our college. We demand a rematch after the next big snow, entire college against entire college. Silliman started off the week by dousing the "fire lurking underground" with the dominant tag-team of Colin "Moon serve" Ayres '03 and Loren "I double as a pro bowler" Wengerd '01, supported by Augustine Kim '02, among others.

Women's squash marches on undefeated behind captains Ming Thompson '04 and Rebecca Dana '04. Ming held her own against the Saybrook Master, who graciously gave Ming a few pointers as Silliman won the match. Right.

Hockey captain Daniel Kim '03 broke his arm snowboarding over winter break. Laughing in the face of pain, he went straight from DUH after his operation to the rink, just in time to score a hat trick and defeat Pierson. Well, we wish. Dan might be out for the season, but Anne Platt '01 and goalie Adam Oppenheimer '02 are holding down the fort in his absence.

Finally, look out for Sillimander-suit- wearing bowling captain Mike "Give me the Goddamn rebound" Mackenzie '03 as he leads the 'Manders into Amity Lanes on Fri., Jan. 19.
