As the new millennium dawns, TD's winter warriors have begun to gather strength. Helped by Kate "Now I know why they call it the hardwood" Ling '03 and Jocelyn "I hit her in the face and now her" Lippert "s" '04, women's basketball has streaked to a 4-1 record. TD men's hoops engineered a sweep of Calhoun last week. With the inside-outside punch of Jeff "What is this, velvet?" Ditman '02 and Andrew "Not all he a-" Pierce '02 leading the way, A-hoops is a force to be reckoned with. In B-hoops, Brett "I'm not related to Chris" Farley '04 and Luke Mraz "a-mat-az" '03 have led the way to an undefeated start. With the return of Ari "One man or two" Selman '02, C-hoops is looking to make its presence felt.Water polo, with Brian "Bring the" Kane '01 and Jen "I want to win a" Gold "medal" '03, water polo is looking to win another championship. The flames of Ashé are beginning to engulf the house of Payne, so prepare to get burned.
