Trumbull

If the accumulation of black and blue marks on my body is any indication, it's been a little rough for the 'Bull. Perhaps we partied a little too hard over New Year's, or perhaps Stiles and Calhoun are particularly brutish colleges. Either way, one thing is apparent: what the 'Bull lacks in immediate victories, we make up for with incredible determination, heart, and persistence.

First off, we would like to wish those steadfast juniors who are now happily studying abroad good luck! We're missing Ian "I finally quit crew and then left New Haven" Cornwall '02, Katy "I am half the volleyball team" Sharp '02, and Danielle "I am the other half of the volleyball team" Morris '02 on the courts. That said, thanks to our new volleyball members who arrived on very short notice this week: Allison "I have no real classes this semester" Westfahl '01, Paige "Will my IM Secretary roomie ever stop harassing me" Pidano '02, and Chris "I do too own gym clothes" Brouwer '02.

A big shout-out to our men's A-hoops team that continues to derail opponents right and left on its way to glory! And of course praise to our kick-ass ice hockey squad. Off the courts, the 'Bull has been gearing up for IM bathing suit-season sports, as the water polo team debuted against vicious TD.

That's right, you Ashé fanatics, you may have won, but our captain went home bleeding and our defense was seeing stars. We prefer a nice clean game of face splashing and headlocks and hope Branford will oblige. Speaking of water polo, the coed part of the game is a little lacking. We need Trumbull men to grab some suits and get swimmin' with the ladies! Ama Boa "constrictor" '02, Radhika "Badhika" Natara-jan '02, Kayla "Full" Nelson '03, Jess Block "this" '03, Irene Gutierrez '02, Kevan Moffett '02, and Jenny "I'm tired of making up stuff" Bruno '02. As our collective New Year's hangover wears off, be afraid, be very afraid. There is nothing worse than a bloodthirsty bull.

(Compiled by said bull.)
