Saybrook

People at Yale tend to complain about one of three things: (1) Too much work; (2) No sex or, in the case of a certain college rhyming with "Horse," a disturbing lack of genitalia; (3) Getting smacked around so hard by Saybrook IMs that your esophagus gets jammed down into your colon.

It comes down to this: Saybrook has grown gills. We are undefeated in the water. Coed water polo is a huge 7-0, and swimming just went 5-0 with a shocking victory in the North Meet, toppling the eunuchs of rival Morse.

The male side of the team actually showed up this year, and the results were staggering. Led by swimming stud Seth "Star" Burstein '03, Dave "It's not swimming unless you're stroking with a big" Johnson '04, and "50-free doesn't mean 50" Miles Lasater '01, the men took home enough top results to give our women the victory they've deserved since last year.

Captains Jordan "I'm glad I'm not in" Pearce-"on"-Bristol '03 and Nicole "Racing against me is worse than getting a" Staff-"infection"-ieri '03 led the onslaught. They were helped by Sara "Va" Giner "Monologues" '03 and Katie "That's" Cole "But not as cold as Bud Ice" '03, as well as a huge effort from Emily Hurstak "Is bigger than your stack" '03 and the whole team. We're starting to think about shirts.

Water polo has a composite score of 42-6 in its seven victories. Led by Reeves, Garber, Clopton, Staffieri, Giner, Bourey, Eure, Chang, Vinci, Mintek, Chung, and others, this team is about ready to sprout its dorsal fin. Splish-splash, Yale. Saybrook is so hot, you're lucky we're in the water.
