Biceps of gold

Ime Archibong, TD '03, has a motto: "Everything's possible."

Ime's 6'3" (6'4" on a good day), 215-lb. stature certainly helps make everything possible on the basketball court. As a freshman, Ime was said to "have potential." This potential became apparent after a summer of hard work. With an average of 9.1 points per game this season and a field goal percentage of 45.3 percent, No. 00 has proven to be among the best Yale basketball has to offer—both on and off the courts.
REBECCA ROSENTHAL/YH

This stud began playing basketball in third grade at his home in "the dirty South."  That's right, this Greensboro, "Cackalack" native is a first-generation All-American stud. Years of Catholic school have molded Ime into a fine young lad both inside and out. Not only is he an all-around great guy—he's also an exceedingly hot one. When looking at Ime, one is immediately struck by his biceps. "Are they real?!" one might ask. Both of them are indeed real, and their circumference is approximately 16 inches.

Was he always this ripped? "No, in eighth grade I was skinny as hell," he said. Seems as though puberty and countless hours in the gym have served this sweetie well.

Just how does one manage to win Ime's affection? If fate managed to dictate that you're a serving of General Tso's delivered from Main Garden late at night, Ime's addicted to you. For those of us not so blessed, there are still a few ways to creep into Ime's good graces. What does he look for in a girl?  "Chhhhhhh...um, riiiiiiight," he said. Above all, he values a good personality. "After initial attraction, there's gotta be something to keep you there."

Besides the basketball courts, a great place to find Ime is Toad's Place. Don't look for him around the bar—he's not a drinker—but the dance floor is a good bet.

Ladies, Ime means patience, and those biceps are certainly worth the wait.

—Missy Blakely
