The past two weeks for JE IMs have been good, good like our ultimate frisbee team, a team which has been spotless except for one game, a game that was played heroically despite the freezing cold winds that swept across the field, fielding an entire squad has been difficult for teams such as softball which is now dead, dead as in the Branford half of our baseball team, the team which will be facing Saybrook-Trumbull on Mon., Apr. 2, Monday being two days after the night I plan on getting bombed, bombed as in what opponents have been after challenging the likes of Tim Ito '02 and his undefeated volleyball players, players as in the hotties on our women's field hockey team which is also undefeated, undefeated as in how our golf team will remain after Tues., Apr. 10's competition led by our captains Leslie Kane '01 and Andrew Goodwillie '01, Willie as in that janitor character from The Simpsons—where's he been lately?, lately as in JE would be in first place if all these recent games hadn't been rained out, out as in you and your mind if you've read this far, far as in not near, near as in how close the billiards team has been to winning, winning as in JE's record for the overall spring season, season as not the one "to be jolly," jolly as last week's IM player and captain of the week Alex Jhin '01, gin as in what I plan on getting bombed with this Friday night, night as in when a day is done, done as in this blurb—but not our spring IM teams.
