Morse

Four years, a couple hundred e-mails, five different shirt designs, countless trips to the fields and the gym, and one sweet Tyng Cup victory later, the time has come for me to say goodbye to the glory that is Morse IMs. It all started when Dan brought me aboard and we both swore to bring the Tyng to Morse or die trying. Well, we did, and we helped take a struggling college and turn it into a powerhouse. Now, my farewell thanks:

Thanks Dan, Teresa, and Andrea for letting me join the team. Thanks Thessin and Chang for teaching me what IMs were all about: having a good time with your college mates and coming together as a team to win it all. Thanks Kristen and Sara for pushing us to the top last year. Thanks to the all senior Morse men and women who came out four years ago ready to play and never stopped showing up. Thanks to Vogel and Kaitlyn, whose enthusiasm, hard work and leadership helped bring the Tyng home. Thanks to all Morsels of every class who have ever played IMs, be it in the one sport you love or in every sport because you like to be active, your participation is what makes Yale IMs great.

Thanks to Carlos for being the ever-steady presence for all us psycho secretaries. Thanks to Josh and Brian for playing fair and being the first trustworthy statisticians in my four years. And special thanks to Master Stanton Wheeler, whose devotion to the spirit of Morse made it all work.

To my fellow secretaries: keep up the good work. To my fellow Morsels: carry on the legacy we started four years ago. To Yale: get used to Morsel supremacy. It's inevitable.
