Smack Zone

Dolinsky

Friday the 13th is going to be a bad day for Columbia as both men's and women's tennis travel to the Big Apple to heat up the courts—$500 for each victory. But Fitzpatrick will defend her city's pride: give her enough liquor, and she'll take out any blond tennis chick. Harvard falls before the might that is Bulldog baseball. They could use some of Darcy's arm strengthening regimen; she can show those boys what a bat's really for. $600 says Yale trounces Harvard and $50 says Darcy's jokes are the worst in smack history. Last Week: +$1,700. Current Balance: $8,800.

Wiecks

Dolinksy just snuck out of the office for a late night trip to Gourmet Heaven...I've heard funnier terms for hooking up than "snacking," but I guess you never know. Hockey playoffs have begun, and the Avs are a sure bet this weekend ($500)—almost as sure of a bet as Fitzpatrick heading home with some sketchy guy after Toad's on Saturday night. Yale lax upsets Duke for the second time in three years ($100), women's tennis picks up another Ivy win ($500), and the Rockies come back to beat the Cards in St. Louis. Last Week: -$300. Current Balance: $10,900.

Fitzpatrick

Let's hear it for the Uptown Boy, Chepiga. He can't write softball articles, but he knows how to make a good pitch. Speaking of good pitches, the Cardinals will take Houston ($300). La'kea the playa is chomping at the bit for Tang—look for her dancing on the table. In NBA action, I'm going for Indiana over Boston ($300), and the Utah Jazz will win over Chicago ($200). Supersuities Megan Strenski and Kaitlin O'Brien will help women's lacrosse against Duke this weekend($100). Last Week: +$0. Current Balance: $14,350.

Despite last weekend's hijinks, these medelim aren't stopping at matzo balls—let me tell ya, they aren't passing over a thing come Saturday night. Much like the sports girls, the Yanks go home hurting after their first visit to Fenway. The Sox take three out of four ($800), and Pedro prevails over Roger Clemens ($1,000). And Fitzpatrick prepares for Easter by having her usual "Good" Friday ($200). Last Week: +$3,000. Current Balance: $9,300.
