Top squash players honored All-American and All-Ivy teams announced

The 2000-01 All-Ivy men's squash teams were announced earlier this week, with Princeton's David Yik '03 taking top honors as Player of the Year. Yik was the NISRA singles champion and also received First Team All-America honors. Yale players Peter Grote, SM '02, and Anshul Manch-anda, SM '04, were named to the All-Ivy First Team and the Second Team All-America. Additionally, Blake Gilpin, TC '01, was honored as an NISRA scholar-athlete, and the Yale team won the Team Sportsmanship Coaches Award.

WNBA and Ivy League collide

Columbia's Shawnee Pickney '01 and Penn's Diana Carmanico '01, three-time Ivy League Player of the Year, traveled to the Moody Bible Institue in Chicago from Thurs., Apr. 5 to Sat., Apr. 7, where the WNBA pre-draft camp was held. The camp is used to evaluate the overall skills of prospective players.
