Editor's Note

So who, you may ask, is going to finish at the top of the Tyng Cup standings this year? Mighty, mighty Saybrook is always a strong contender with a history of victories. With a brand new-college and new dining hall, it is certain that those crazy Saybrugians will bring their well-rested and well-fed selves to the IM fields and be a force to be reckoned with.

Then again, Davenport shocked the world (and by world, I mean Yale intramurals) last year with a third-place finish. They lost two secretaries, but not too many athletes. Unfortunately, they're still better off than Trumbull, which hasn't managed to stay out of the cellar for more than a few months in years past.

Will Swing Space help or hurt Timothy Dwight? Notoriously weak in the winter, proximity to the gym may help them out of their IM rut, but perhaps they'll be too tired from their walk back to Swing Space from classes every day.

Branford is definitely a favorite. When the past four Tyng winners have conveniently and coincidentally had the statistician in their own college, predicting that the streak will continue into year five is no great stetch.

But of course, with a new crop of freshmen changing the face of every college, IMs are anybody's game. Wanna play?
