Saybrook

We regretfully announce that the Saybrook intramural demonstration on how to win the Tyng will not be replacing Bill Clinton's speech this Saturday, despite the many petitions we have received from the other colleges.

Silliman and Pierson know first-hand how busy we've been this past week, as we destroyed them in men's soccer, men's football, and coed football. Brian "Stronger than a locomotive" Vinci '02 and his cohort Josh Zaharrof '02 continue to represent for men's football, along with Tim "I'll" Bliss "fully kick your ass all over the field" '04. (Men's football aggregate score: 109-18). Also on track for an undefeated season is coed football, which also stomped on the competition. The offensive attack got surprising support from Zach "You can call me Payton Manning" Clopton '03, "Miss" Scarlet "on the IM fields with the revolver" Kim '05, and Sarah "Her bite is even bigger than her" Barc(a) '05. (Coed football aggregate score: 69-13).

In soccer news, our women's team finally had a game, and it was a good one at that. Our squad crushed Morse and Stiles 2-0, led by goal-scorer Lael "My name rhymes with Yale, good for Saybrook my name isn't Barvard" Harrison '03 and defensive specialist Molly "Flipper" Kleiman '03. Men's soccer still dominates the league, going 4 and 0 for the first time in a long time. Sam "Adams... mmm, that's some good beer" Taylor '05 strutted his stuff with goals in back-to-back games.

Table tennis, (4-0)...unchallenged, which seems to be a common trend among Saybrook IMs this season. Our top players, Scott "Can't lose" Kirschenbaum '03, Stosh "Spear" Mint(ek) '03, and Becca "One bad mutha" Tucker '04, continually demolish their opponents, even on an empty stomach.

Oh, and Berkeley football...the weather can only protect you for so long.

(Compiled by two Saybrugians who can't even comprehend how good SY IMs actually are.)
