Silliman

Since last you read of our exploits on the field, court, and/or table, more excitement has happened than could possibly be chronicled. For who, indeed, would attempt to confine the Sillimander spirit to mere words, much less a few hundred of them? Yea, words cannot encompass the beauty of Wynn "ing isn't everything, it's the only thing" Meyer's '04 diving catch on the football fields against hated rival TD.

Speaking of TD, our men's team beat them. Behind the stalwart play of Ben "There, done that" Olsen '03 and Kenny "do it? Yes, he can!" Dikas '05, these ferocious footballers rang TD's bell so hard that their ears were ringing all the way back to the hellish Swing Space (which, by the way, Sillimanders won't have to occupy until at least the fall of 2005; take that, Pierson and Davenport).

How about ping pong's victory over TD? Saad "He" Khanani "stly say he only knows how to win" '02, Edwin "Takin' it on the" Chin '03 and Ben "Sterling" Silbermann '03 opened up a king-size can of whoop-ass on the hapless bell-ringers.

Who would dare stop the coed football magic of warriors like Michel "of his former self? Hardly" Shamy '02 and Mariella "Raffo" Raffo '04? And as in days of yore, every Sillimander will triumphantly stalk the IM fields, raise his fist skyward, and bring down the heavens with his victorious cry: "The day is mine, Yale College! The day is mine!"

(Compiled by your mom, Yale College. That's right. Your mom, last night, after I got through with her, and let me tell you, worst I ever had.)
