Berkeley

Oh, yes, there is no cheering in Muddville. BK IMs are in a slump. Quite a severe slump. But, much like the hardy Timex watch, we take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.

Men's football lost a hard one this week to D-port. Our offense had troubles and Captain Ricky X '03, starting to channel the Washington Redskins, ended up throwing a few interceptions. We had a chance to tie it at the end thanks to "The Catch" by James "Randy Moss" Herron '03. But, much like the men of Trumbull, we were unable to finish the job and were treated to sloppy seconds of defeat. Nonetheless, stellar performances came from Anthony "A-Train" Powell '05, Colman "C-Train" Lynch '05, Thad "The Big Green" Novak '02, Sid "Darth Vader" Govindan '03, and Micah "Still Mini" Herron '05.

Ping pong has been holding strong. Victories from Captain Thomas "No one works it like me" Leung '03, Rob "Big paddle makes the sex last" Bernheim '02, Vicky "I get to hit it first" Gardner '03, and Nicole "Yeah, I need to go now" Lim '04. Unfortunately, due to a string of forfeits, these victories have not translated to triumph overall. Players, we salute you anyway!

And our other teams? Forfeited into oblivion or postponed until next week. Oh well...at least we have the Gimbel Cup. Just wait until the winter season, you smug bastards.

(Compiled by someone who gets more depressed every week. Yup, the love cruise is over).
