Some highlights of BK's start of the winter season include:

Led by Lauren "Don't get too creative with my name" Dick '03, and backed up by solid play from Jessica "Has hops like a" Frogge '04, Cindy "I Pass the Ball Down" Lo '04, and Regina "From Sea to Shining" Sieber '02, the mighty ladies of BK got their season off to a strong start.

Women's volleyball came back from a 7-1 deficit to win the second set and wiped them up in the third. Player of the game: Kristen "I'm Better Than Gary" Thompson '05, no doubt. She showed off her mad hustle and touched almost every ball that came near her. The Ball Jugglers—Margo Harrison '04, Jeane Lee '05, Jeane Ward '03, and Regina Sieber '02—handled the second set. Cindy "Boom" Lo '04 and Sharon "Shakalaka" Hwang '04 helped out with their consistant serves.

Backed by two ex-Green Berets, Onaje "Oh, Daddy!" Woodbine '02 and Dave "Leaves the Competition Saying" Huhs '02, the bad boys of A Hoops handled their business. Captain Sean "My Playing is Anything But" Crummie '02 and Dave "Saved By The" Beller '04 also added to this invincible onslaught.

This year's B-Team started things off slowly, but finally pulled it together during the last five minutes of the game. Dean George "The animal" Levesque, Damon "The demon" Nakamura '04, Pete "Makes the ladies say" Okolo '04, and Cole "I can sink those goals" Fergusson '03 took care of the inside. Jimmy "I wish I was a McDonald's High School All-American" Chang '04 had some steals and key assists.  Ben "I make things" Reiter '02 came down with a really important 3-pointer at the end of the game. (Compiled by someone who would really like to see im).
