Branford

Every Friday I pick up a copy of the Yale Herald. One of the first things that I do is flip to the Intramurals page. For the most part, the other colleges' columns are quaint, talking of victory this and glory that. But every once in a while, I notice an error so egregious as to warrant special attention. Such an error has occurred and I would be remiss in my duties if I were not to report it. It seems that our distant friends in Pierson have decided that they are going to win the hockey championship this year. All I can say to this is, "What the f*ck?!" Were you not there last year, Pierson? Did you not see the Branford hockey team run roughshod over all of its opponents, ending with an undefeated season? As for graduating players, the only player that we lost was Aaron "The wall" Zamost '01, our goalie. But guess what? If people don't get any shots on goal, it doesn't matter who is in the net. We have Jim "Not in the face" Schroder '03 in there now, but he only sees shots when our boys let them through. We handed TD a 10-0 defeat in our first game, and it's only going to get worse. If you are going to make predictions, try to at least do some research first. P.S. A very special thank you goes out to Alex "Kobe" Galuten '04 for sinking the shot and making sure that Branford C hoops did not get shut out.

(Compiled by Jordan Hinkees '02, the guy behind the guy behind the guy).
