Making the record books

In one historic night, Cornell women's basketball player Do Stevens '02 surpassed the 1,000 point mark, broke the Cornell free-throw record, and recorded a double-double to lead the Big Red to a 65-55 victory over St. Francis. A member of the 1998-99 All-Ivy Rookie team and 2000-01 second team All-Ivy team, Stevens became the ninth player in program history to score 1,000 points. In addition to her scoring record, Stevens made two free throws with 47 seconds remaining in the game to increase her career total to 310, breaking the old mark of 308 set in 1986.
